Svilen Simeonov

Svilen Simeonov has been declared as one of the most distinguished Bulgarian conductors. He received the award „musician of the year“ (1999) with the orchestra „Amadeus“ from Sofia, issued by the Bulgarian national radio, the award „Crystal Lyra“ (2001) with the orchestra Collegium musicum and the award „golden Lyra“(2007) with the orchestra „Sofia Sinfonietta“, for high achievements of performance.

He received the award „musician of the year“ (1999) with the orchestra „Amadeus“ from Sofia, issued by the Bulgarian national radio, the award „Crystal Lyra“ (2001) with the orchestra Collegium musicum and the award „golden Lyra“(2007) with the orchestra „Sofia Sinfonietta“, for high achievements of performance. maestro Simeonov is the chief-conductor of the orchestras „Sofia Sinfonietta“ and „Amadeus“ from Sofia and the Vidin State Symphony Orhestra. He was the guest conductor at the Vienna Opera Scene (Operetten Buhne Wien, Heinz Helberg, 2004-2006) and has been at „Teatro Lirico D`europa“ (since 2001) and the Strauss Festival Orchestra (since 2007 with euroconcert and promoconcert). He has received his Diploma at „pancho Vladigerov“ State Academy in Sofia, Academy for music and Dance in plovdiv, at the departments for clarinet and conducting. Besides, he has finished studies of conducting in the class of professor Salvador mas Konde at Vienna music Academy. previously he was engaged as a director and a conduuctor at Opera - Burgas philharmonic Society. A devoted educationalist, Simeonov was having lectures on conducting in Sofia, Seoul, greece (Kozani and Vlasti), Hanoi (Vietnam), italy (“Festival of the gulf”) and the USA (State University of youngstown and Dana School of music – Ohio, Thiel College and Westmisnter College – pennsylvania. He is often invited to give courses and master-class seminars at the festivals worldwide. maestro Simeonov is respected by the journalists for his performances. The leading Bulgarian music magazine “music Horizon” says: “There was this feeling of suggestiveness of the conductor who managed to build in such an emotion into the strings of the instruments, which made the audience hold their breath and share the moment with him...Tchaikovsky`s Confession (Serenade for the strings), the work of a genious, rose the deepest feelings of the audience, which showed their gratitude by a thunderous applause”.


Jovan Bogosavljević

Jovan Bogosavljević was born in Belgrade. He started playing the violin with his father Dragutin Bogosavljević (student of renown educationalists and violinists David Oistrakh and Boris Kuznjecov).

This period of his musical education resulted in getting the position of the Absolute winner of the competition in Tortona in the category up to 30 years. He finished his elementary studies in the class of professor Tatjana Olujić where he also earned his master`s degree. in 2002/03 he also earned his master`s degree at the royal Conservatory in Brussels in the class of igor Oistrakh, one of the greatest violinists nowadays. While in Brussels, he was a concertmaster of the Student`s Orchestra as well as a concertmaster of the Orchestra for contemporary music. After finishing the royal Conservatory, Jovan Bogosavlejvić specialized with: mikhail Kopelman, pierre Amoyal, Kim nam-Joon and Boris Kuschnir. As a soloist he has performed with chamber and symphony orchestras: in Serbia, all ex-yugoslav republics, Check republic, Slovakia, poland, Hungary, italy, Spain, Turkey, england, Belgium, greece, Bulgaria, germany, Finland, Sweden, Danmark, China, Argentina, Japan, the United emirates etc. As a soloist he has also performed at prestigious festivals: Ars musik (Brussels), Art Fest (London), Warsow Festival (poland), Festival Stuttgart (germany) Festival Kopenhagen (Danmark), international Festival (Berlin), Bemus (Belgrade), novi Sad music Summer Festival, nimus (nis) Kotor Art (montenegro) as well as in prestigious halls such as: “Saint martin in the Fields”- London/england, “palais de beaux arts”- Brussels/ Belgium, “Stadthalle” Wuppertal/germany etc. As a soloist he has had cooperation with numerous renown conductors: mladen Jagušt, Uroš Lajovic, Dorian Wilson, Andrej Andrejev, Biljana radovanović, Jovan Šainović, Bojan Suđić, Berislav Skenderović, Saša nikolovski Đumar, Anatolij novicki, Burt Bucharach, Stanko Šepić, Vesna Šouc, Svilen Simeonov, Fan Tao, igor Budenstein, Bernhard Steiner, mark Kadin, ivan Tatarević etc. As a soloist he has perfomed with numerous orchestras, from Belgrade Symphony Orchestra up to Beijing national Orchestra. He has achieved cooperation with many pianists: işil Bengi, Cui Lan, Jelena Jermakova, isak Sekelj, Dragana petković, Biljana gorunović, Olivera Đurđević, natalija mladenović, Dejan Sinadinović, Aleksandar Serdar etc. in duet he has performed with other instrumentalists: Dragutin Bogosavljević, Ljubiša Jovanović, marija rajković, panta Veličković, Dragan Đorđević, Jean-Luc Votano, Alan Bulgerian…For many years he has been performing worldwide as a guest solo pianist with quartet from munich “Basiona Amorosa” which received the awards “european Quartet” and “echo Klassic”. As one of the leading musicians in Serbia received many awards and critics: “Artist of the year” in 2006 given by the ministry of Culture of the republic of Serbia, “performer of the year” in 2012... Since 2019 he`s been performing with the renown Bulgarian pianist Ludmil Angelov. Jovan Bogosavljević is a full professor at the University of niš. “...Jovan has an incredible staccato!
