Soprano Snežana Savičić-Sekulić is a primadonna of the national Theatre in Belgrade.

Soprano Snežana Savičić-Sekulić is a primadonna of the national Theatre in Belgrade. She has graduated basic and postgraduate studies at the AmA in Belgrade, in the class of professor radmila Smiljanić. She started to perform in national theatre in Belgrade with main role of gilda in Rigoletto and in madlenianum opera and theatre, with role of Carolina in Two widows. She has received a special Jubilee plaquette for the excellent long-standing artistic contribution to madlenianum Opera and Theatre. She is the Laureate and the first holder of the “Oskar Danon” award given by national Theatre in Belgrade, for the highest artistic creations. As well, she is the holder of the national Theatre annual award for the astonishing work and artistic contribution in Opera repertoire. Likewise, she is the first holder of the “musicaClassica” and first holder of the Association of musical Artists of Serbia award. She is the Laureate of the following international competitions of the solo singers: “nikola Cvejić” “ObzorjanaTisi” and Jeunesses musicales in Belgrade when she won four different awards, what happened for the very first time in the history of this Competition. Following, there was a prize at the international Competition Ady Sari in poland. She is holder of “BiserkaCvejić” award which is given to the best student of solo singing; first prize winner of “Josifmarinković” award; winner of golden medal of the Cultural-educational society of Serbia. As the holder of Scholarship of the Cee musiktheatre of Vienna she was improving her education (scholarship given to the most successful young opera singers of Central and eastern europe). She had that privilege and honor to work together with worldwide renowned artists, including operatic productions and concerts. That cooperation was crowned with thegala concert at Wiener Staatsoper in Vienna in 2009. Her stunning performing career includes appearance in numerous cities worldwide at opera and concert stages: roma, paris, petersburg, London, Boston, Budapest… etc. She has accomplished the leading roles in following operas: La Traviata, Lucia di Lammermoor, Die Zauberflöte, Le nozze di Figaro, gianni Schicchi, Les contes d’ Hoffmann, L’elisird’amore, il Barbiere di Siviglia, rigoletto... Her repertoire includes over 40 vocal-instrumental works, whic were performed with numerous domestic and foreign orchestras in country and abroad. She liaised with numerous worldwide renownedartist such as: montserrat Caballe, Carlo Colombara, Olivera miljaković, eva Blahova, David Bižić, Claudio Vandelli, marco Boemi, Speranza Scappucci... Ten years (2001/2011) she worked as a professor at the Art Academy in Banja Luka, and recently as the guest professor at the Faculty of contemporary arts in Belgrade. Snežana has recordings for „mandala-Harmonia mundi“ label in paris, singing the musical piece „eissplitter“ of the Serbian composer mr. ivan Jevtić.


Ива Мрвош Анокић

Mezzosoprano Iva Mrvoš Anokić was born in Negotin, Serbia.

She entered the Music Academy in Belgrade in 2003. In the same year she was invited, at extremely short notice to sing the mezzo-soprano part in Honegger’s „Le Roi David” with Maestro Leopold Hager (AUT), and Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, where she appeared on stage together with the world-renowned tenor Nikolai Schukoff. Her work with the Belgrade Philharmonic led to a wide variety of invitations to perform both in Serbia and in the surrounding countries.Between 2003 and 2008 she performed with leading groups of the Balkans such as National Radio-Television orchestra (Serbia), Royal Strings of St. George (Serbia), Banatul Timisoara Philharmonic Orchestra (Romania), Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra of Tirana (Albania), and Rome Symphonic Youth Orchestra (Italy). She also maintained a passionate commitment to new Serbian music, performing and recording the works of Babić, Despić, Maksimović, etc.In 2008 Iva moved to Stavanger, Norway, after receiving a scholarship from the Norwegian government to complete her master studies. She has performed with renowned artists such as Maestro Claudio Vandelli, Maestro Cristian Curnyn, Maestro Yoel Gamzou, Maestro Kjell Seim, Håkon Austbø, Erling Eriksen, Jan Bjøranger, Ketil Are Haugsand, Helge Rønning. During her time studying in Stavanger she collaborated regularly with Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Youth Chamber Music Orchestra, Academic Orchestra of IMD-UIS and „Stavanger Barokk” ensemble appearing as soloist in Bach’s „Weihnachts-oratorium”, Mahler’s „Das Lied von der Erde” and „Lieder eines fahrende Gesellen”, Respighi’s „Il Tramonto”, etc. Since 2013. Iva lives in Vienna. She appeared on operatic stages in Germany, Norway, Italy, Romania, Croatia singing the roles of Azucena, Carmen, Eboli, Orfeo, Ottone, Mercedes, Lola, Maddalena, Marthe, Flora … Ms Mrvoš is very compassionate about her pedagogic work and passing the love for opera to the youngest generations. In 2013. she founded a „Little school of opera d’Iva“ in her home town, with an intension to actract children and young people to opera. She regularly teaches there every summer.

Strahinja Đokić

Strahinja Đokić was born in 1991 in novi Sad. He finished elementary and Secondary music School „Isidor Bajić“ (department for the piano) in the class of professor Dragana Popov – Marić

During 2011/12 season he started cooperation with Serbian national Theatre as the piano player. He finished Secondary music School „Isidor Bajić“ (department for solo singing) in 2014 in the class of professor Senka nedeljković. After successfully passing audition for the Opera studio of the national Theatre (season 2013/14) he started cooperation with the national Theatre in Belgrade with the role of a Jailer in Tosca (giacomo puccini) and in October of the same year in Serbian national Theatre in novi Sad in the same role. Besides many prizes at competitions, he is a laureate of the republic Competition for young singers (2011 and 2013) in Belgrade. For several years he has been receiving the scholarship of the Fund for improving vocal technique melanija Bugarinović and daughter mirjana Kalinović – Kalin, as well as the Dositej Award (Fund for young Talents) which is given for outstanding achievements in competitions. During school year 2015/16 he worked as a piano player at the Department for Solo Singing at music School „Isidor Bajić“. From 2016 to 2018 he specialized at the institute Vecchi-Tonelli (Corso di tecnica vocale e interpretazione) in modena (italy) as a grantee of the Fund raina Kabaivanska. He had a debut at the Sofia Opera and Ballet in operas Turandot (role of Timur, December 2016) and Norma (role of Oroveso, October 2017). in September 2017 he finished his master studies at the Academy of Art in novi Sad in the class of professor Biljana gorunović. During the season 2018/19 he had an oportunity to have a debut in Serbian national Theatre in operas La bohème (role of Colline, December 2018) and Il trovatore ( role of Ferrando, January 2019). During 2019 he has been attending the Academy for Bel Canto Rodolfo Celetti – Foundation Paolo Grass (martin Frank, italy). From march 2019 he has been employed at the Academy of Art in novi Sad as an expert at the Department for Solo Singing.
